Bunbury Banter began by specialising in creating short new writing audio drama productions, which were initially aired on Hayes FM. Over time these spread to radio stations around the globe.

The series was recorded in rep with the same cast performing across all of the plays.

In this series we explore the effect that war has on individuals, families and relationships. Ready to head back to a former time?

Double Portions

by Theo Clarke

War isn’t theory for Matthew anymore. He has realised that his granddads war doesn’t exist – and neither does the media. The only war that matters is his, and he doesn’t want to talk about it. This is a man in conflict, conflicted on what he has done and what he is asked to do. We listen to different strands of the story from Matthew, his Mum and Grandad. Which one will you agree with?
